In 1979 Wigwam became established as a provider of high quality PA, landing contracts for artists like Brotherhood of Man and Shirley Bassey – today the company is known worldwide and recent projects include the Pope’s Birmingham visit.
“Our equipment and engineers are also behind the sound you hear at festivals like the Isle of Wight, Tatton Park and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.”
Mick said the best event he has worked at was the Billy Graham ministries, which spanned from 1984 to 2000.
Mick continued: “Our hire department provides audio equipment worldwide to some of the biggest acts.
Mick’s favourite thing about the company is the people, he never dreamt it would be as successful as it has become.
